Adventist family follow their faith

An Adventist family from Werribee lay it all on the line for God. Husband and wife team Andy and Sara Lutze have put their lives on hold in recent months to follow a dream. Andy, who is a television show producer and professional musician, has put a halt on all of his work to follow a dream he had nine months ago. Andy dreamt a contemporary Gospel Music television show. A show that would give the youth of today a chance to listen to the genres of music they like, whether it be rock, soul, R 'n' B or whatever, but not have to listen to the so often offensive, negative, racist and sexist lyrical content

that accompanies so much of today's music. Andy's wife Sara has also quit her job to help produce the TV show that she said Andy had literally dreamt.

The idea of the show is to give today's youth, who are so driven and influenced by music, a positive alternative. The show would also have a segment called Real Stories, in which real people would tell real stories on how God has worked in their lives.

Andy said that the entire concept of this show, right down to the last detail came to him in this dream. A dream he said was so real that he wasn't sure if he had actually dreamt it or if it was reality ... Reality? ... Why not? Andy asked himself. "This was not just a dream. This was more like a Vision,” he added. "And I didn't put it there! Clearly God did. Every last detail was imbedded into my head. Clearly God is telling me to do this. There is nothing like this on television in this country and if we can make a positive difference in peoples lives through Inspirational Songs & Real Stories, and bring people to God by using music and the television medium, then this vision must be turned into reality." Within days the vision began to transform. Andy and Sara set up a non-profit organisation. Production of the TV Show Faith Above All began and within weeks and the vision formed into reality. With their daughters Krystal and Rachael as presenters on the show and Andy as the host, Faith Above All went to air March 4th 2006 on Aurora Community Television (Ch 183) on Foxtel digital @ 3.30 pm Saturday and repeated 11.00 am every Sunday.

As Faith Above All is a non-profit organisation it is dependent upon donations and subscriptions in order to stay on the air. Subscribers to the show will receive every episode on DVD so even if you do not have Foxtel digital you can still see the show weekly.
