So what is the Back Room cafe?
The Back Room cafe happens on the first Friday night of each month in the back room at North Fitzroy SDA church. While each one is never quite the same, you can expect great food and drinks (for free!), stimulating conversation, topics that are both interesting and challenging, and some truly hilarious moments with Lorinda and the improv team. You are invited to participate, not just observe, and to think, not just to learn.
Maybe you're sick of playing religion and want Christ without the clichés. Or perhaps you're a little bored and want to meet some new people. Or maybe you just want to chill out with a drink and some funky tunes before hitting the town (or the pillow!).
Either way, the Back Room cafe was designed with you in mind. So come thank God it's Friday with us at the next one!

When?
The Cafe opens at 7:30 for an 8pm start. Usually we're winding up a little after 9, but we stay open 'till 10pm. First Friday night of every month with a few exceptions – join the mailing list or check the site to stay in the know.
